Your Guide to Qualifying for the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP)
Starting May 2025, more Canadians will have access to affordable dental care through the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). Applications are being accepted in stages:
- May 1, 2025 – Ages 55–64
- May 15, 2025 – Ages 18–34
- May 29, 2025 – Ages 35–54
To qualify, you must:
- Have no private dental insurance
- Earn under $90,000 annually
- Have filed your 2024 income taxes
- Be a Canadian resident for tax purposes
